The Elevator World Tour™ is a series of events taking place in the world’s most impressive elevators, in the most innovative start-up cities, giving entrepreneurs the chance to garner investment and develop relationships with the most influential investors, advisors and accelerators around the globe. In each city, 100 burgeoning start-ups will compete for the chance to win an investment of up to $100,000.
PITCHES
The elevator pitch competition came from the notion that it shouldn't take longer than the time needed for an elevator ride to communicate the important elements of one's business. Having a powerful elevator pitch is critical for approaching investors, partners and potential customers and ultimately becoming a successful entrepreneur.
100 Startups line up to pitch in the elevator Each startup will pitch in front of 2 judges Every set of judges chooses 1 winner for their segment - The shortlisted startups will pitch on stage and engage in a Q&A with all the judges - 1 deserving startup will be crowned the winner of their city, win the investment prize and secure their spot at the world finals in Montreal!

The Elevator World Tour™ is brought to you by the organizers of Startupfest, an event on the business of startups held annually in the historic Old Port of Montreal. The Festival is one of the largest gatherings of entrepreneurs in the world, and has grown over 20% each year since its inception in 2011. Startupfest celebrates entrepreneurship in a fun and festive atmosphere always trying to approach our subject in new and creative ways.
