The Elevator World Tour is presented by Startupfest, Canada's largest startup event held in the festival city of Montreal every July. Startupfest has earned itself a reputation for being unforgettable and unconventional, incorporating unique opportunities into an unbeatable festival atmosphere over it's history. One of the most popular competitions began back in 2011, hosting pitch competitions in the ferry terminal elevator.

 

Looking to grow the festival's international community, Startupfest set out to take this small but mighty portion of the event to burgeoning startup communities around the globe. Starting in January of 2013 at the CN tower in Toronto, the Elevator World Tour was born and has since ventured across continents to find the best elevator pitches, and hottest startups, in the world's most impressive buildings.
